Moon Nursery Color Palettes: Cream, Blue, Sage and Gray

Celestial nurseries live or die on palette. The theme has very little pattern to carry it, so colour and light do all the work. These four palettes cover most rooms, and each one lists what goes where. Palette 1: Cream and soft blue-grey The classic, and still the most reliable. Walls: cream or warm off-white. Secondary: soft blue-grey on one wall or in textiles. Wood: light oak or ash. Metal: none, or a very muted brass. A pale moon wall light reads perfectly here — cream on cream would disappear, so choose a piece one step deeper than the wall behind it.
